Ensuite, on trouve R9 et R10 qui, en parall\u00e8le forment une unique r\u00e9sistance de 340\u03a9. On a choisi de mettre 2 r\u00e9sistances en parall\u00e8le pour faire une r\u00e9sistance 1\/2W, pour que la r\u00e9sistance ne chauffe pas trop si le potard BURN est \u00e0 0. Cette r\u00e9sistance va former un filtre passe bas avec E2 et F6, en coupant \u00e0 1Hz. Il ne laisse donc passer que la tension continue, \u00e9liminant toute fluctuation ou bruit pouvant venir de l&rsquo;alim.<br>Le point VA est la sortie du circuit d&rsquo;alimentation, qui permet d&rsquo;alimenter le reste du circuit, avec une tension filtr\u00e9e. On trouve aussi la led, avec R11 qui limite le courant, reli\u00e9 au footswitch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"nm-block-heading wp-block-heading\" id=\"le-crack\">le crack<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>Dans l&rsquo;alimentation, on trouve aussi le circuit de Crack, qui va permettre de baisser la tension d&rsquo;alimentation du circuit, pour un effet gated fuzz similaire \u00e0 une pile en fin de vie. Quand le switch CRACK est activ\u00e9 (vers la droite sur le sch\u00e9ma), R7, R8 et le potard BURN sont mis \u00e0 la masse, faisant ainsi un pont diviseur avec R9 et R10. Le potard BURN permet de faire varier la tension d&rsquo;alimentation de 0 \u00e0 3,8V, pour une fuzz plus ou moins velcro.<br>Quand le CRACK est d\u00e9sactiv\u00e9, le circuit est aliment\u00e9 en 9V produisant ainsi une fuzz riche et ouverte, et la r\u00e9sistance R4 est connect\u00e9e \u00e0 la sortie de l&rsquo;effet, att\u00e9nuant le signal pour compenser les diff\u00e9rences de volume.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:32px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"nm-block-heading wp-block-heading\" id=\"la-bom-et-l-assemblage\">la bom et l&rsquo;assemblage<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>On commence l&rsquo;assemblage par le sachet 1. Tu peux v\u00e9rifier dans un premier temps que tu as tous les composants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On fait d&rsquo;abord un petit rappel sur les composants, dans ce sachet tu as une capa \u00e9lectrolytique et une diode, qui ont un sens \u00e0 respecter.<br>Pour la capa, le + est dessin\u00e9 sur la carte et il correspond \u00e0 la patte la plus longue. Ensuite, pour la diode, il y a un anneau gris dessin\u00e9 proche de l\u2019une des pattes, le m\u00eame anneau est repr\u00e9sent\u00e9 sur l\u2019emplacement sur le PCB.<br>Pour le potentiom\u00e8tre et le toggle switch, il faut bien faire attention \u00e0 les mettre en BOTTOM, de l&rsquo;autre c\u00f4t\u00e9 de la carte. Le toggle switch doit \u00eatre bien droit, pour que la carte passe sans efforts dans le boitier \u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00e9tape de mise en boite.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-table aligncenter En le baissant, on peut ainsi rentrer moins fort dans le circuit, pour optimiser le jeu de clean au volume de la guitare. En l&rsquo;augmentant, on rentre plus fort, pour davantage de saturation et de sustain. Au max, il permet de faire osciller le circuit, \u00e0 la mani\u00e8re d&rsquo;une c\u00e9l\u00e8bre fuzz \u00e0 5 potards, gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 la r\u00e9sistance de feedback R5.<br>Ensuite, F3 sert de capa de liaison pour \u00e9liminer les composantes continues et ne laisser passer que le signal audio. Mais elle agit aussi comme un filtre passe haut avec R5, coupant ce qui est en dessous de 7,2Hz. On a choisi une fr\u00e9quence de coupure sous le seuil audible pour garder un maximum de basses, mais en baissant la valeur de F3, on peut laisser passer moins de basses dans le circuit, pour une fuzz plus per\u00e7ante et criarde.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"nm-block-heading wp-block-heading\" id=\"etages-de-gain\">\u00e9tages de gain<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>On trouve ensuite deux \u00e9tages de gain successifs avec Q1 et Q2. Dans un premier temps, on ne prend pas en compte l&rsquo;effet de R5 dans le circuit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le premier \u00e9tage est un montage \u00e0 \u00e9metteur commun : en reliant l&rsquo;\u00e9metteur de Q1 directement \u00e0 la masse sans r\u00e9sistance, le gain de cet \u00e9tage est immense, faisant ainsi saturer le signal.<br>R6 fixe le gain et le bias de Q1. Dans la th\u00e9orie pure, le bias optimal est \u00e0 VCC\/2 = 4,5V, mais ici, la valeur de 33k donne un bias beaucoup plus bas, produisant un clipping tr\u00e8s asym\u00e9trique caract\u00e9ristique des fuzz, pour un rendu musical plus agr\u00e9able.<br>Sur le deuxi\u00e8me \u00e9tage Q2, le gain est plus faible, \u00e9tant \u00e9gal \u00e0 (R3+BIAS)\/FUZZ. Le trimpot FUZZ fait donc varier le gain du deuxi\u00e8me \u00e9tage, g\u00e9n\u00e9rant un hard clipping.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On trouve \u00e9galement trois condensateurs. C1 et C2 sont des capas de Miller, reliant la base et le collecteur des transistors pour \u00e9viter les bruits et interf\u00e9rences hautes fr\u00e9quences, que le circuit pourrait capter \u00e0 cause de son gain immense. Pour \u00e9viter la fuzz qui capte la radio !<br>F1 permet quant \u00e0 elle d&rsquo;att\u00e9nuer certains aigus, et ajoute une chaleur similaire au r\u00e9sultat que l&rsquo;on pourrait obtenir en utilisant des transistors au germanium.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Enfin, la r\u00e9sistance R5 g\u00e9n\u00e8re une boucle de feedback, r\u00e9injectant une partie du signal de sortie \u00e0 l&rsquo;entr\u00e9e de Q1. Cette technique permet de r\u00e9duire le gain g\u00e9n\u00e9ral du montage, et surtout de compenser d&rsquo;\u00e9ventuelles variations de gain et bruits, pour une fuzz plus stable. Mais en baissant sa valeur, elle permet aussi de faire entrer le circuit en auto-oscillation, pour des effets de larsens contr\u00f4lables avec le volume de la guitare. Le trimpot FUZZ permet \u00e9galement de doser le niveau de signal r\u00e9inject\u00e9 par R5, jouant \u00e9galement sur le gain g\u00e9n\u00e9ral du circuit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"nm-block-heading wp-block-heading\" id=\"sortie-du-circuit\">sortie du circuit<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>Le gain en tension du circuit \u00e9tant immense, si on connectait la sortie directement \u00e0 Q2, le volume de sortie serait beaucoup trop fort et inexploitable. On prend donc la sortie au milieu d&rsquo;un pont diviseur form\u00e9 par R3 et le trimpot BIAS, ramenant le signal \u00e0 un volume correct.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On arrive ensuite sur un filtre passe bande form\u00e9 par F2, R2 et F5. La capa F2 permet de couper des basses, et c&rsquo;est donc sur cette capa que l&rsquo;on va agir avec le switch BASS et le bornier. La valeur 220nF permet de laisser passer toutes les basses, mais une valeur plus petite coupera les basses. F2 joue aussi le r\u00f4le de capa de liaison, toujours pour \u00e9liminer la composante continue.<br>F5 va quant \u00e0 elle couper les aigus. De base, la valeur 100nF laisse quasiment tout passer, mais une valeur plus grande coupera davantage les aigus. Encore une fois, on fait attention au sens de E1, et aussi des transistors Q1 et Q2.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pour les trimpots, parfois la valeur est inscrite clairement dessus, mais ce n&rsquo;est pas toujours le cas. Si ce n&rsquo;est pas indiqu\u00e9, il y a toujours 3 chiffres qui permettent de la d\u00e9terminer : les deux premiers indiquent la valeur, et le dernier l&rsquo;exposant, ou le nombre de z\u00e9ros \u00e0 rajouter pour lire la valeur exacte. Par exemple, dans le cas de la Feed Me, 102 veut dire 10\u00d710^2 = 1000 = 1k\u03a9, et 203 = 20\u00d710^3 = 20000 = 20k\u03a9.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-table aligncenter On commence par le trimpot de FUZZ, met le simplement \u00e0 fond, c&rsquo;est comme \u00e7a que la fuzz fonctionne le mieux ! Le gain se dose plut\u00f4t avec le FEED et le volume de la guitare, mais tu pourras toujours le baisser plus tard si il y a trop de gain pour toi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pour le trimpot BIAS, met le toggle switch CRACK vers le bas, puis insert le voltm\u00e8tre entre les pads BIAS et GND. Ensuite, tourne le trimpot BIAS jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 lire 5,1V sur le voltm\u00e8tre. En bleu, le signal d&rsquo;entr\u00e9e, un sinus qui augmente en amplitude pour simuler une attaque de plus en plus forte. Avec une attaque plus franche, le signal sature et un clipping apparait, rendant le signal carr\u00e9.<br>Quand le FEED est pouss\u00e9, le signal sature m\u00eame sur les attaques l\u00e9g\u00e8res, rendant le signal moins dynamique et plus compress\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"nm-block-heading wp-block-heading\" id=\"la-gated-fuzz-avec-le-switch-crack\">la gated fuzz avec le switch crack<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>On utilise le m\u00eame signal d&rsquo;entr\u00e9e en bleu, avec une amplitude qui augmente, puis on visualise 3 signaux en gris. Le r\u00e9sultat est une coupure nette sur l&rsquo;une des deux alternances du signal, provoquant un clipping tr\u00e8s asym\u00e9trique. Avec une attaque faible, le signal n&rsquo;a pas assez d&rsquo;amplitude pour passer, provocant cet effet de gate au sustain limit\u00e9, et le signal tr\u00e8s asym\u00e9trique est \u00e0 l&rsquo;origine de ce son de fuzz velcro caract\u00e9ristique.<br>SMASH baiss\u00e9, la tension d&rsquo;alimentation est encore r\u00e9duite, accentuant encore plus l&rsquo;effet de gated fuzz.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"nm-block-heading wp-block-heading\" id=\"les-bandes-passantes-avec-le-switch-bass\">les bandes passantes avec le switch bass<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>Derni\u00e8re analyse avec la r\u00e9ponse en fr\u00e9quences de la p\u00e9dale. Le switch de BASS va permettre de modifier et couper les basses fr\u00e9quences, pour aller d&rsquo;une fuzz riche et grasse \u00e0 une fuzz per\u00e7ante.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery Ne t&rsquo;occupe pas du reste du sachet pour l&rsquo;instant, on montera le footswitch \u00e0 la fin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Attention, on a fait une petite mise \u00e0 jour du footswitch, si tu as un ancien mod\u00e8le, tu dois avoir deux rang\u00e9es de 4 pins m\u00e2le, mais si ton mod\u00e8le est plus r\u00e9cent, tu dois avoir un seul connecteur m\u00e2le de 2&#215;6 pins, comme le montre les deux prochaines photos.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Place les pins du c\u00f4t\u00e9 TOP du PCB, comme sur la photo, en enfon\u00e7ant le c\u00f4t\u00e9 le plus court dans la carte, pour laisser d\u00e9passer le c\u00f4t\u00e9 le plus long. Soude aussi le fil blanc entre le TIP du jack et le pad IN de la carte. Et enfin un fil noir sur le RING du jack, comme sur la photo. Cette configuration permet de couper l&rsquo;alimentation du circuit en isolant la masse si aucun jack n&rsquo;est branch\u00e9 en entr\u00e9e de la p\u00e9dale.<br>Pour le OUT, on met uniquement un fil vert sur le TIP, qui va au pad OUT de la carte. V\u00e9rifie les rondelles et \u00e9crous avant d&rsquo;ins\u00e9rer la carte, tu dois d\u00e9j\u00e0 avoir un \u00e9crou de viss\u00e9 sur chaque potard, pour qu&rsquo;ils soient \u00e0 la m\u00eame hauteur que les toggle switches. Tout le reste servira \u00e0 assembler la p\u00e9dale.<br>Tu peux ins\u00e9rer la carte dans boitier, puis la fixer, en mettant une rondelle et un \u00e9crou sur les potards, et juste un \u00e9crou sur les switches.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Avant de visser les jacks IN et OUT, on va d&rsquo;abord souder le jack d&rsquo;alim. Laisse le viss\u00e9 au boitier, sinon tu ne pourras plus le mettre une fois soud\u00e9. Si tu as un footswitch avec un connecteur 2x6pins, va directement \u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00e9tape <strong>assembler le bypass des nouveaux kits<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:32px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"nm-block-heading wp-block-heading\">assembler le bypass des anciens kits<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Attention au sens, tu as le dessin pour chaque composant du bon c\u00f4t\u00e9, le footswitch et la r\u00e9sistance ne sont pas du m\u00eame c\u00f4t\u00e9. Pour le footswitch, les traits horizontaux indiquent l&rsquo;orientation des pins.
