Mounting brackets for our power supplies, compatible with all pedalboards!

You just bought one of our Anasounds K+ or FX Power Source power supplies, and you want to fix it on your pedalboard? In this article, we will see how to mount them correctly on all kinds of pedalboards with our bracket kit!

the pedaltrain

We start with the most popular, the Pedaltrain! With this one, you will need to drill! We will use a drill, a 3.5 or 4mm drill bit, a spanner and a PH1 or PH2 Phillips screwdriver.

First, we are going to fix the brackets on the power supply. For both the K+ or FX Power Source, they must be screwed as high as possible on the last holes.

Then place the power supply under the Pedaltrain at the desired location, and make 4 marks with a marker pen in the 4 outer holes.

• 

• 

And we drill! We advise you to make each hole one at a time, and to check each time that your marks are still aligned.

• 

• 

Once the 4 holes are done, we can install the power supply!

For the FX Teacher, insert the 4 M3 screws on the top of the pedalboard, and screw the 7mm spacers on the back. These will allow the power supply to be raised to access all the connectors between the tracks of the Pedaltrain. Then insert the power supply over the thread that should protrude from the spacer, and screw the nuts with the spanner!

For the K+, you don’t need the spacers! Just insert the screws into the pedalboard and screw the power supply with the nuts.

That’s it for the Pedaltrain!

the rockboard pedalboard

For the FX Teacher and K+ daughterboard, no need to drill! We will use the Rockboard power supply holder. But if you want to fix it directly on the pedalboard without the holder, you can also drill like for the Pedaltrain!

We will use 2 M3 screws and 2 nuts. We put the screws behind the holder, which will go into the holes of the brackets, and then screw the nuts!

Then all you need to do is place the support on the pedalboard. The power supply is small enough to place it anywhere!

And for the K+ motherboard which is bigger, you will have to fix it directly on the pedalboard by drilling. Just like for the Pedaltrain!

the aclam pedalboard

For the Aclam, we will also use their universal power supply holder.

For the FX Teacher, we will fix the brackets to the power supply so that they protrude from the connectors side. Then we will connect the cables we need with the straight jack side.

Next, we will place the power supply on the back of the pedalboard, and insert the 2 Aclam screws into the rails. Then put the power supply support on them.

•

Finally, screw on and tighten the 2 black washers, pushing the power supply as far as possible into the support. The brackets should almost touch the bottom of the support!

For the K+, we advise to fix it vertically, as shown in the pictures. Otherwise the cables will prevent the power supply from being held correctly.

It’s done for the Aclam! All you have to do now is connect your pedals with the cables that run through the support.

the temple audio pedalboard

For the Temple Audio, we have created notches in our brackets to use their screw system! All you have to do is place their support on the pedalboard in a large hole, and screw it by pressing behind the support.

It’s already done!

the palmer pedalboard

The simplest! We use the elastic straps supplied by Palmer to fix the power supply. For the FX Teacher, mount the brackets as high as possible as for the Pedaltrain. Then we place the power supply and hold it in place with the elastic straps.

For the K+, screw the brackets in the central hole, orienting them inwards for the motherboard and outwards for the daughterboard.

Then, as with the FX Teacher, fix it to the pedalboard with the elastic straps.

the other pedalboards

If you have another kind of pedalboard and none of these solutions is suitable, there are still the self-drilling screws to screw directly into the frame of your pedalboard.
